After I posted the first chapter of The Feedsack Dress here, a reader e-mailed asking how to buy the book.
Having just been issued by a regional publisher, it’s not widely distributed. You’re unlikely to find it in your local bookstore, but that store may be willing to order a copy for you.
The simplest way to get it is to order it online, and here you have a number of choices:
the publisher at www.cavehollowpress.com,
my local bookstore at www.columbiabooksonline.com (or call 573-449-7417) and
several national and international online booksellers.
And don’t forget to check your local library. Few have it yet, but you can request that your library order it. If you do, suggest the librarian read the review in the September 2007 issue of Midwest Book Review. The relevant part reads:
“A welcome and confidently recommended addition to school and community library collections, ‘The Feedsack Dress’ is a charming, original, and deftly written novel by an author who has a readily discernable [sic] talent for story telling [sic] and an impressive ability to make her readers care about her characters.”
Librarians may be more inclined to order this book if they google my name, Carolyn Mulford, and see that I have written other books.
